PPHE Hotel Group invited students to design a Central London hotel for young professionals and mid-budget travellers, with a brief to create a standout concept that meets hotel needs.

My design envisions the space as an “interior garden” — a calm retreat inspired by nature, with water ponds and greenery. Clay-finished walls, terrazzo floors, and built-in elements add texture and create a cave-like feel, while featured lighting enhances the atmosphere.

The ground floor welcomes up to 100 guests and includes a reception, restaurant, café-bar, and flexible exhibition space. Guest rooms (16–30 sqm) are practical and cosy, with reconfigurable twin beds, desks, en-suites, and built-in storage.

Sustainability is central, with energy-efficient systems, smart sensors, water-saving tech, and breathable eco-materials. The result is an affordable hotel concept, designed for long-term value and offering a peaceful escape from busy city life.
